Our Mission 🏔️

We support young people across the UK breakthrough to play, redesign, work and grow from sport.

Using the power of creativity and youth co-creation, our work helps them take part in sport, build life and employability skills, design and deliver real-world projects, and create career opportunities.

Our Mission 🏔️
We help 14-24 year olds, those in lower socio-economic groups and who face barriers to access sport such as confidence, facilities, disabilities, learning needs.

Co-creating with young people gives them a direct responsibility to design solutions for themselves and future generations, helping to realise their power and potential.

Our Vision ✨

Every young person will have the right to design how they breakthrough into sport.

Delivery + Education 🍎

Our direct delivery for young people is underpinned by educating why, and how, the sport sector, associated sectors and wider society should be working directly with our future leaders.

We make sure young people have a platform for their voices, find themselves in the right rooms and speak directly with decision makers.

Combining delivery and education is how we believe long-term change for young people to access sport will happen.

Coaches Corner 🧠

Our youth network is called Coaches Corner – diverse young people across the UK aged 14-23 who support our mission and work.

Members gain skills, have paid work, develop their own projects, support our direct delivery, speak at events and conferences, given networking opportunities and educate decision makers.

They ensure everything we do is youth led, so youth voices and ideas are heard, and acted on.

Young people's human right ✊

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is the most complete statement of children’s rights ever produced and the most widely-ratified international human rights treaty in history.

Our youth co-creation approach and methodologies produce fun, respectful and safe experiences for young people aged 11-18 and 18+, reflecting the relevant UNCRC articles below.

Article 3 – Best interests of the child

The best interests of the child must be a top priority in all decisions and actions that affect children.

Article 12 – Respect for the views of the child

Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously.

Article 13 – Freedom of expression

Every child must be free to express their thoughts and opinions and to access all kinds of information, as long as it is within the law.

Article 31 – Leisure, play and culture

Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.

Help us change young people’s lives by supporting our essential work.
